Obtain EASA's drone remote pilot licence for Standard Scenarios (STS-01 & STS-02) in the Specific Category online. We designed this blended learning course for drone pilots who want to operate in controlled airspace or whose drone operations have a higher risk. By completing your UAS Remote Pilot training in our drone academy, you will be eligible to fly drones across all EASA member states in the Specific Category. The training course covers principles and requirements for Operational Declarations and Authorisations. We will review remote pilot requirements for operations under Standard Scenarios (STS-01 & STS-02) and published PDRAs. In addition, we will overview the operational risk assessments such as SORA.

Following this, all the paperwork is uploaded to the MySRS system.
You will receive access to our training platform, where you will complete and pass the theoretical knowledge exam in Open Subcategory A2 at your own pace. Then, you will be invited to a full-day live Zoom webinar where you will have the opportunity to meet our Chief Instructor - Captain Julie, who will take you through the specific requirements and procedures for drone pilots and operators operating in the Specific Category. Following the Live Webinar, you must pass the theoretical knowledge assessment in the Specific Category STS.
Please note: the theoretical knowledge assessments are conducted online via record and review or live proctoring systems. If a student fails to follow the instructions or does not reach a satisfactory grade, a retest will be required, and retest fees will apply.
A blended theoretical knowledge course of 24/7 online access to our learning platform and one-day live Zoom webinar; Course completion certificates for the issue of the “Remote Pilot Certificate of Competence” in Open Subcategory A2 and “Remote Pilot Certificate of Theoretical Knowledge for STSs” in the Specific Category.
Following the course, you may either work under a UAS operator's Operational Authorisation in the Specific Category (EASA) or register as an Operator and obtain your own Operational Authorisation. If you or your organisation does not have a valid Operational Authorisation and Operations Manual, we can assist in preparing all necessary documentation and endorsement to the national aviation authorities.
We believe that quality training is a critical part of drone operations. Our training will benefit you greatly progressing with your knowledge and understanding of safe, efficient and legal drone operations. Our training courses have been built upon a wealth of knowledge and experience that will steer you clear of pitfalls and help you mitigate the risk associated with every aspect of drone operations.
