Project Overview

Air Taurus's, a leading innovator in the UAS industry, objective was to be able to conduct drone operations in remote communities. However, the organisation faced a challenge: they had to obtain regulatory approvals for Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) drone operations that could easily move operations across Europe. Our company stepped in to guide Air Taurus through the complex regulatory landscape and prepare all documentation to secure the PDRA-G02 Operational Authorisation.

The Challenge

• Navigate applicable EASA and EU regulations, such as the Regulation (EU) 2019/947, 2019/945, GDPR and others.
• Demonstrate compliance with European safety standards.
• Secure authorisation for BVLOS operations in lower-risk environments.
• Secure temporary segregated or reserved airspace for the UAS operations.

• Expanded Regulatory Approvals: Air Taurus now have LUC for SORA-based Operational Authorisation with SWOOP UAS.
• Industry Leadership: This achievement cements Air Taurus's position at the forefront of Europe's UAS industry.
• Innovative Service Offerings: Air Taurus can now support critical services such as logistics and medical supply deliveries, particularly in rural and remote areas.
