Can you be a drone pilot and operator at the same time?

Yes. If you are a person who will be flying drones, you can be both a drone operator and a remote pilot at the same time. However, you could be the remote pilot without being a drone operator. For example, if you are a pilot working for a company that provides drone services, then the company is the drone operator, and you are the remote pilot.
